njc110381
Clean the action, chamber and external parts as you would any other gun, but leave the bore alone unless it gets a real soaking.
pigeon master
Just one point... All metals last longer if you clean, oil and clean the excess oil. Apart from bullion so the choice is yours to take but a quick pull through followed by a wipe of oil wont lose you accuracy thats for sure. Enough said!! Paddy Galore!
I only ever use a patch down the barrel once in a blue moon.

Dekers
Not so bad if you only ever use lead subs, but the propellant is filthy anyway! Minor trace lead deposits will be left in the bore/rifling whichever way you look at it! If you use HV Copper coats, cleaning will be pretty important to keep the bore etc in top order! Not quite the same issues to deal with as High Velocity Centrefires, but worth looking after your tools! Many years back when I was involved in a lot of competition shooting, cleaning had to be a religion to keep the edge!

Colster
If I've put a lot of rounds through it (fat chance the last few weeks), I go through it with bronze brush and then use the mop with a bit of synthetic gunoil on it. If it's only had light use (checking zero etc) then just the mop. Same with shotgun but never put anything down the barrel of my air-rifle except pellets
