Security chained to the wall next to me gun cabinet, it cost a lot of money so no beggar is nicking without a fight, anyway the mother-in-law lives with us if you saw her first and last thing at night, no teeth, tits hanging on the floor, belly just above her tits it would scar you for life and any potential intruder-burglar :good: would be found out by his sickening scream and retching.

How much do you want for your mother-in-law?

Keep mine in the cabinet for three reasons :

1 : Keeps it away from the kids.

2 : Hopefully makes it a little more difficult to nick

3 : Teaches the kids that all guns are kept safely so hopefully instilling tis in them now will make them resposnible shooters.

HELLO ALL ,

Read recently of a chap having his air rifles nicked in one of the airgun mags , great shame , gent very upset .

When you sit down and work out how much a good outfit can cost , why would'n't you lock it away :good:?

Not just for the MOST important safety issue with children about but the replacement cost , can anyone really afford to replace a good outfit / £600 plus , at short notice ?

I know i couldn't , and it doesn't look good on the burglary/ incident report form , stolen 1 air rifle !!!,

I purchased a second cabinet ( v cheaply ) just for my air rifle stuff .Think its the right thing to do .

Stocky.

Got a gun rack next my cabinet. The 24lb MPR is inside and the others are outside chained up. FEO wan't to keen as he said that as I have an FAC, ALL air rifles should be locked in cabinet. I think that was just his interpretation as a with bit of reasoning he accepted the rack, but the gun room is locked with a substantial door and the room is alarmed.
