pegasus bridge
has anyone got any first hand experience with this chair? http://www.##############/?page=show-item&item=701 it is mostly going to be used for rifle shooting (sitting and ambushing) as i already use and highly rate the cabelas bucket seat. i am looking for something lightweight and not bulky when folded. it also must be strong! i am fond of my food and tend to put a lightweight chair through its paces - so if anyone also has an idea of the max weight they take that would be great or if anyone else can think of a similar alternative - i'm all ears

Spaniel
I got a 3 legged stool with back rest in lovely camo for £10 from a game fare to be honest, or you can get the small fishing chairs for a few quid from Lidls which are just the right height when sat behind the netting But this one looks ok
olivhar01
i bought one at the midland game fair, very comfortable and lightweight
utectok
I'm pretty sure this site has been reported on here as having a very poor service (**************) might be worth avoiding?
PaulABF
I bought a 3-legged, folding canvas stool from Lidls or Aldis for the grand price of £1. Far too short and the legs sink into the ground a few millimetres at a time, catching you unaware until you feel your butt crack filling with mud. In essence a pound will get you a crack full of butt mud.
UKPoacher
The other day I was using a Pop-a-Bivvy hide and kneeling in front of the netting. It wasn't very comfortable so I nipped back to the car and got my reclining fishing chair. With the legs fully extended I could just see over the mesh and was able to quickly stand up when pigeons came in. It was brillant - lovely and comfy. A bit heavy to carry far though with all the other stuff. There's a lot to be said for an upturned plastic drum with a cushion in some circumstances. You can fill it with your deeks and netting when walking to and from your car. Better than a stool IMO.

henry d
........ i am fond of my food and tend to put a lightweight chair through its paces - so if anyone also has an idea of the max weight they take that would be great or if anyone else can think of a similar alternative - i'm all ears Looks like it would be more likely you would topple sideways on that one, have you tried one of the camping style seats that fold ? Beardo
talking of Camp seats - Mungler had a thread on them, worth a look up http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...082&hl=seat Edited February 24, 2010 by nickbeardo
Dunkield
Some driven boar shooters use the three legged wooden and leather jobs. As I am super fit I can stand for hours so I don't need one but I did try one out and it seemed comfy enough. Seems the higher it is, the better it as well. big simmo999
I've used a stool, a cheap folding garden chair and a 50litre bucket/feed bin in the past and all were ok for a while, but I still ended up with backache the following day. I bought a carp fishing chair for £30 at my local tackle shop and it's the dogs ********. It has ajustable legs with mud feet and is very comfey and is not to heavy and I've used this for about 2 years with no backache
