MC
I have just been to Derbyshire today to pick my new spaniel pup. This is her For those of you that remember I was searching for a pup from Badgercourt lines as that is what my current dog is from. I found a litter that has no less than 32 Badgercourt dogs in it's pedigree and has 39 FTW or FTch as well as 1 Ir FTch. Her sire is Badgercourt Sirius and dam is Byrony willow. She is a month old today and there was two to pick from really as the other bitch (There were 3) just went to sleep and didn't really take to us. THere was this one and another with a solid liver coloured head. This one was picked as I didn't want one that was too white and she has lots of markings under her coat which are starting to come through. I pick her up on 11th April and then the fun begins. Thanks to averyone who offered help in trying to find the right dog for me. Cheers Martin

al4x
Looks a beauty, did you decide a bitch might be easier? seems to be the route a lot of people take
MC
Looks a cracker Martin. Best of luck with her Is Merlin "intact" ? No Merlin was neutered several years ago, a decision I now regret but it had to be done as he didn't like the missus. But I do know several of his Brothers Looks a beauty, did you decide a bitch might be easier? seems to be the route a lot of people take I decided on a bitch as I have had a dog and he wasn't that hard to train but he can be headstrong. I will train her to be a trial dog and if she makes the grade then I will breed from her.

al4x
fingers crossed if you got him neutered early enough he won't still try it. My brothers got 2 labs and they do the deed repeatedly while the bitch is in season despite the dog being done
ME
I will train her to be a trial dog and if she makes the grade then I will breed from her. If you are interested I'll get Missus ME to hold off on his "nut chop" Should make for interesting pups Sir Humpalot - (Rusty)

You miserable tosswad Nice dawg, Martin I know, I know, I was hoping to pick her up on good friday on the way home from the H4H shoot, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen now. Still you could always bring her down when you come for the Essex Masters.

Delbert
Looks a corker my first bitch Fern had strong Badgercourt lines together with Markdown Muffin and Gorsty Gus (probably before your pedigree shows) the hunting knowledge is wired in the line, you'll have a bundle of fun bringing it out. garyb
These northern bred springers are great in the car! Mine didnt even wake up during the 3 hour trip back from MarkBivvy's (Leeds) Only wish I could say the same now
MC
Badgercourt Druid is one of her gt gt gt grandparents (on both sire and dams sides) and is also in Merlin's pedigree. Merlin also has Gorsty Jester in his.
