hookbones
i had the 1st montana in the country and other than a dog nibbling the draw strings its as good/warm/dry as the day i got it..got good pockets shell loops ect only down side is as it was 1 of the prototypes its not got a hood like the ones now and theres a toggle on the back of the neck thats a downer fr a shooter with long hair ! i have heard some deerhunter stories that they have lost there water proofing but most are due to a hard abusing life that would have left a seal less than water tight
al4x
I'm guessing the £80 one is the ram not montana, just a heads up but make sure they have it in stock, I'm waiting on some montana trousers from shootingshop.com and they are blagging difficulties in getting delivery from Denmark I've a couple of early deerhunter jackets still going strong after close on 15 years you really can't ask more than that Edited March 22, 2010 by al4x
mayfly36
THE DEERHUNTER RAM cost £153 free postage, the montana was £168 from bushwear, and in stock.

Countryway
bit too late now, but the Jack Pyke Hunter Jacket is a very nice jacket. £65. I found that camo suited our woodland better then the Deerhunter Camo.
George1990
Army surplus DPM smock jacket. Cool enough in summer and can wear a jumper under it in winter. Very hard wearing and is hard to snag. The best bit? It was £
