I'm a newbie to Pigeon Watch and have been mooching around the site for while gleaning more information than I can possibly absorb. I've recently bought a Weihrauch HW95k from Antony at Redbeck Shooting (excellent fella.) with the intention doing a bit of rabbiting. I only live a mile away from Paul Lane Rifle & Pistol Club so will be heading up there on Saturday to find out about membership, lessons, tutorials, etc. I want to get as proficient as possible with my shooting before attempting the real thing. The advice on this site about gaining shooting permission has been invaluable and I'll have to start getting around the local farms to try and obtain permission for shooting rabbits. Is there anyone from Huddersfield (or nearby) who wouldn't mind me tagging along, just to watch (not hunting) and show me the basics, especially with stalking, thumbing, paunching, etc. Cheers Matt Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
