Rabbits

The brother asked me on Monday morning if it would be a good day to go shooting. I told him every day's a good day and that we needed some rabbits for the dog. Monday was a good windy day and I know a very good spot where they bolt well on a windy day.

I don't know what his tally was, but he brought 10 home, and 2 crows for a picture!

Nice one. The dog will be eating well. Any word on your rifle?

Not even a hint. But the FEO said there was no need for a cabinet inspection or for her to come out to see me so I wont here until it comes or is rejected.

Can't afford the rifle at the minute anyway cos I just bought a Fourtrak for shootin!

You need to explain to your brother the benefit of gutting the rabbits before he brings them home. :o

That is one big mess to have to get rid of.

Oh it was explained! I told him about 10 times to bring a knife with him. think I'm gonna have to order a couple of opinels- they look perfect for that type of work :o
