starlight32
Has anyone noticed the new type pigeon of shooting bag which was shown on the pigeon page of sporting gun this month? It was a slightly different design to the normal vertical type holdalls where it had a horizontal layout with pockets for the nets and decoys etc. I seem to think they were saying it is a jack pyke one but I cannot find it anywhere for sale or on their website. Anyone else seen them available anywhere, or knows who makes them/sells them?

adam1
I've litteraly just turned the computer on to ask about these myself, (hindsight really as i've just rung up and ordered one ) it should suit my needs perfectly and for 20quid it must be worth a punt (although theres another 7 quid P+P) so look forward to hearing from anyone already using one, if we dont I guess i'll be guinnie pig and ill let you all know if they're any cop once i've lugged it around a bit as long as im not breaking any forum rules as they are from someone else other than the site sponser, (mods let me know if its a problem, cheers)
Cranfield
Look around the " fishing luggage " websites and you will find loads of these multi pocket bags in all shapes and sizes, most of them under £20. The main problem with them is that the pockets are too small for any decoying small items. I have always found the big one, perhaps two, compartment bag is best. Beardo
the back of my frontera seems to do just about right for me
pigeonblasterian
Got one of these bags and they are very large. They should be big enough for anybody the amount of stuff they will hold.Very handy for just putting in the back of the van keeping everything together. They can get heavy if you have a fair way to walk to get set up if like me you like to take something in the bag just in case. vampire
I have bought one of these new type bags, mine was on e-bay very cheap now they have doubled and doubled again in price the last few weeks, quess they must be getting popular, the one ive got is about the size of a large suit case but made of cotton in military green and is good but could do with a shoulder strap as its abit of a weight to lug round the fields, very well made to. adam1
Mine came yesterday and I am very pleased with it, the trouble is i need to buy more kit to fill it it's huge, but you dont need to use all the space, the quality is probably better than i was expecting, only one side is cammo the other is beige ( not that it makes any odds to me but if you saw the article you'd think it was completely cammo and i know there's some cammo nuts out there :( ) the best bit for me is every things to hand no more digging to the bottom of a bag for this or that. I really cant imagine youd spend a better £20 on luggage.

cortezarbo
You can buy them from targetsports.co.uk I've been using them for years and I would recommend them to anyone, they used to have a shop in Bolton but its gone now and I think they're only mail order. The 12 pocket decoy bag is £20, they also do a 9 pocket version
