Went for an interview today at Swadlincote diesel fuel injection services ltd today. They specialise injectors and fuel pupms, there a Bosch company. Is this a good trade to be in? The bloke who gave me the interview basically said the job was mine if i wanted it. I would have to go to London for training. It's 12 miles away from where i live, Is it worth all the traveling? Thanks guys

How long is the training for? And at 17, a single lad, with no missus (or kids) what have you got to lose. It may turn out to be the best thing you have ever done, but you don't know unless you try. My advice to you edd, is stop being lazy, get out of bed and do it :lol:

ANd you are questioning about traveing 12 miles? Dont let your new boss read this, he might take back his offer!

Have you missed the news recently where people can not get jobs and will travel 120 miles (60 miles round trip) for a job, then you might have somthing to question.

There will be courses all the time i expect. And for the 24 miles a day with no transport.... Hmmmm. As you say chaps i have nothing to loose. Give it ago and if it doesn't work out oh well. Also he said if i didn't want the job he could speak to some local dealers for me. He said that he thinks i would make a good technician/mechanic.

Indeed it is haha, think im going to go for it. What's the worst that can happen. I would like a job i could get straight into though. Also all the equipment is worth a lot of money and im worried about breaking it.

So you've got a job and transport and what sounds like a thoughtful frame of mind.

Im 15 stone man haha. Iv booked some lessons and that so get driving soon with any hope. Meanwhile get lifts of mum and grand parents.

It's easier to get a job when you have a job, this is the start of the rest of your life. Go for it remember the pennies you earn will pay for your shooting, what better reason could you have?:drinks:?
