Hi guys, went out today and just happened to walk under a flight line of birds, i had some great fun but only got 7 pigeons ( cause im **** ) ;) When i got home and breasted the birds i noticed that the crops were full of what i can only describe as very small pepper corns, hundreds of em, does anyone know what this is as i aint seen it before? Roasted the breasts with some olive oil and onions YUMMY :lol: only 7 of them but they were lovely

Oilseed Rape was the obvious answer, but not at this time of year, unless the birds are nicking it out of a silo, which Woodies won't generally do, (unlike Collared Doves).

 

I can't believe that there's any rapeseed left on the stubbles that hasn't already chitted long ago, so if they weren't Ivy berries, I'm stumped, (very unlike me..!!).

 

Perhaps there's some exotic plant grown in the land of the Sheep S******s that none of us know about..??
