A few woodys

Started the day off with a moderate attempt at shooting some clays at Emsworth, with a few blokes from the Langstone Harbour Wildfowling club

Then swiftly off up to the farm where I saw a good couple of hundred pigeons hitting a rape field yesterday. :good:

I set up in a big bare strip in the field, and **** law, the cloud broke and the wind died down to a breeze :lol:

Still, the show must go on :ermm: I placed the rotary at the head of the pattern, which was facing into the wind, about 20yrds out and 2 bouncers out to the rear.

The day was slow with 2s and 3s comming over, some decoying and some just passing.

Finished up with 54, lost quite a few in the long stuff, which was quite tall and very thick in places, and not worth flattening to try and find the lost downed birds

Nice shooting and I just love the truck- was thinking about doing mine-

its a little larger than yours ( Isuzu Trooper Commercial) may I ask how much paint you used- Im guessing I'd need a little more than you did, do you agree?

Three maybe four litres tops Les, that's all for yours. Go for two pack if you're spraying as it's rock hard and dries quick. The Defender I had was painted at app 2.30 am and greenlaning down hawthorn hedge lanes at 4pm, no problem at all.

Hello mate, I got the paint from here . . . . http://www.anchorsupplies.com/paint.htm

Its a synthetic paint, I used a 4'' foam roller (or 5) to apply the paint. I put 2 coats on so far and out of the 5ltrs I have 1/4 of the tin left. I will probably give it another coat although it doesnt really need it.

Is that the back off fort Nelson?
