Salop Matt
I may be going slightly crazy but am sure that once when watching a BLADE TECH demmo at a gamefair the demonstraighter said that when you get those nasty smells on your hands that you should wash your hands also useing you bladetech as it was aluminium and that aluminium got rid of the smells ! Has anyone tryed this and does it really work ? If so why does it get rid of the smells ?
Guest CraigBenson
Sounds like **** to me Austin. I just use mine for sharpening the blade, I prefer to use soap on my hands, though washing your sharpner at the same time isn't a daft idea. Dunkield
Yes and it works 100% Just don't ask me how. It isn't aluminium though, it is Stainless Steel, good hardware shops sell them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stainless_steel_soap

spartan80
i've got one of the 'stainless steel soaps' for getting rid of onion and garlic etc smells from my hands. it's literally just a piece of stainless steel in the shape of a soap bar, you'd get the same effect by rubbing your hands on your stainless steel sink

turbo33
lemon juice is a good standby....something to do with the acid... easy to carry one of those squeezy lemon shaped ones in your bag when you go out fishing or bunny hunting
njc110381
Stainless works a treat. I have one of those soap bar things but if I'm away from home a spoon does just as good a job.
