Pigeon Shooting Available

Hi guys

I'm new here so hope this isn't out of order.

I have a lot of pigeons on my fields at the minute and for the last 25 years I've given away shooting to friends/friends of friends ect.

Anyway it's been all one way traffic so I've decided due to this and being in the building trade (so no work about) I'm going to start having let days on them.

I thought around £80 per gun per day.

All the shooting is in Beds/Bucks

What do you guys think?

Plenty of people charge for shooting now, if you got the pigeons and the fields then why not.

£80 for a DIY day might be a little steep though, IMHO.

I've done both free and paid pigeons days, and the paid ones have been about £20-£45 per gun - Joe

I'd be interested depending on location.

 A guy in the borders charges 75 a day with the hides allready

in place so all you do is turn up,this isnt far away from this price and

he never stops, a bunch of guys up here go regular.Theres a guy in kelso

charges 125 a day with overnight accomodation and breakfast, and another

advert in a local dealers for 75 a day in northumberland, this isnt that

far out the way, and the guys asked for offers why give him a hard time.

I know guys that go and shoot one roe deer and the day might cost 500

quid, others shoot pheasant at up to 40 quid a bird or more,if the days

organised and the birds are there then whats the problem you cant

get everything free and reading between the lines half the people on here

cant get any shooting at all, so why put him down especially when he asked

for offers and not insults give the guy a chance.

£50 would buy you a woman in MK-im very close to you and have never paid a penny for shooting.Just an observation.Might have been wiser to invite ,say, 5 people free of charge and then in exchange they would write a review of the day-then you would have a much stronger pitch.Good luck with it anyway-if it enables a couple of landless guns a day out then it cant be bad.

You're lucky never to have had to pay for shooting.

Not so lucky having to pay for ya women though

Oh and if ya didn't spend so much on ya women you could afford a better gun than a bruno :-)
