bruno22rf
About a month back i bought a speedo for my motorbike over the phone and paid by debit card. When the speedo arrived it was in KM/H which was useless to me so i rang the company straight away and explained the problem-no problem said the man-our mistake-send it back and we will refund you.Since then i have rang them about 20 times and get some of the most feeble excuses i,ve ever heard and its obvious now that they are having a laugh at my expense. The guy i normally speak to is the owner cos his name is listed as such but for a while he denied it and told me i needed to speak to "dave"-i tried this several times and only caught on when i spoke to a different person who laughed when i asked for dave. Now i,m mighty peed off-how do i get my revenge?-can i open an ebay account and constantly buy all his stock then not pay?-i dont care if my account get closed cos i have a proper one anyway-any suggestions would be welcome..... bionicle
Have you spoken to trading standards? Small claims court? Other than that you could always name and shame them, why not sign them up for all those iffy web sites; you know the ones...
kdubya
you got an address, so that the item can be TAKEN for exchange? KW
guss109
Just tell him as you paid for it with your card you are going to ask the bank to reclaim your money. Also say you have informed trading standards and are seeking help from your local cab. See what they say to that as the CAB really know there stuff and will help you all the way
Evil Elvis
I like the ebay idea, you must be able to ask for a return address so that you can send it back, then you have the address....you could also do an "me" special....dogydoo truffle in a jiffy bag
retromlc
firstly, if it's ebay leave a negativly loaded, but non abusive feedback, that way he can't get your comment removed via their deflamation policy, log a formal complaint with ebay,if he has an address then contact you local C.A.B and report them, start small claims proceedure ,which involves setting deadlines for them to refund,so it takes time,so start straight away, but if you start, send all letter recorded delivery, this tends to add weight to the letter physcologically and they can't claim they never got the letter, keep reciepts as you can claim this in court, but make sure that unless they repay you that you proceed regardless of their "chq is honestly in the post m8" ,be polite, again it will add weight to your conviction to proceed,if you scream at them they can laugh at you. bruno22rf
Thanks for the advice guys-cant visit him cos he,s in Barnham in Kent which is a long walk from me-think a recorded letter followed by small claims court is the way forward for now-once the *** has paid up then i,m gonna have some fun with him-on one of my shoots theres an old building that still has a working phone in it (belongs to BT)-maybe i should ring his number and then just leave the phone live for a day or so-then the ebay trick and a message from my mates dog-i,m almost feeling sorry for him. njc110381
If I were you I'd make up some of that liquid that NTTF uses as Fox bait. Anyone who's made it will tell you that stuff honks like you wouldn't believe. Make up a small box package about an inch thick, fill a condom with this stuff under pressure, knot it and tape it to the underside of the joint in the middle of the top/bottom of the box. Then tape the package up so it's completely wrapped in tape. The easy way to get into it will be to key it or use a knife on the joint, at which point the pressurised package will burst. Trust me, it will go everywhere like a kids water bomb. It stinks like nothing you've ever smelt before and even after going in the wash your clothes will still smell of it! I've never been to the office of the company that I sent one of those to, and to be honest even now I don't suppose it's a pleasant place to be?!
