Luckyshot
Shot this strange looking rabbit last night and didn't notice its lack of ears until I went to pick it up. They were obviously damaged some time ago as they were totally healed and the rabbit seemed to be acting quite normal considering.

Luckyshot
And you think it looks normal with those eyes? If you have ever headshot many rabbits with a 22 rimfire you would recognise the damage to the eyes popping out it happens quite regular. An example;

PaulABF
My daughter recently did work experience with Whitehouse Farm in Northumberland. I collected her on one of those days and used the time to look around their animals. A lot of the young rabbits had no ears. I was informed that they were literally 'licked' off soon after birth by over enthusiastic grooming by the mothers.
