Shropshire_Lad
Hi, I would have to go with a Rapid 7 too. I had a 12flbs mk1 for a year or two before getting a new fac mk1 in 1997. I still have it and they just don't go wrong. Simple to strip too if you do need a seal or two replacing. If you do get one they are easily upgraded at a later date to fac. atvb Paul. UKPoacher
Tried a Rapid against AA S410, AA S510, Daystate Mk.3 and a HW100 and it was like a tractor amongst cars in that company. I bought the HW100S and never regretted it. Superb rifle! Never more than +/- 0.5% variation in power, good shot count, not nose heavy like the Rapid, silky smooth side lever action and superb build quality. Beardo
another vote for the HW100 - quality workmanship, faultless action, accurate as hell.
vampire
AA S410 CLASSIC .177 ,but what ever you go for as long as its a multi shot and .177 any of the rifles mentioned so far are up to it and how many shots are you likely to have in one session because i NEVER used all mine in one go after rabbits,i would also consider the weight

[2]theoben rapid 7 mk1 Rugged and reliable in the extreme, the professionals choice. [3]bsa r10 silenced Perfectly adequate gun, but as they say, if you can't think how to make a great gun, just copy everyone else! If you intend sensible use, and will look after it then get a AA410. If you intend to put it through hell get a Rapid 7!

Elm0
Rapid 7 is considered to be the hunters choice as said before high shot count very reliable and superb accuracy i wouldnt part with mine for the world ,only downside is its a little heavy , as said tho ive fired the s410 and what a lovely gun as are the hw100's ,any of these guns will do the job and will not dissapoint ,at the end of the day go to the shop and pick them up and see how they fit and how it feels in your hands that will be more important
