is the dog wormed regular.

If so, a mate of mine had a Springer which was very lean/wormed regularly, additional to her usual dry food mix he gave her rice pudding out of a tin for a while and that seemed to put some fat on her skinny frame...some dogs may not take to it but it's worth a try.

dont worry to much mate, its not unusual for a young springer to be on the lean side its just coming out of is puppy stage as long as its getting a good diet she will fill out in time, see the difference in a years time when its fully grown and its muscles have developed,

Off the bone! Never give a dog cooked bones.

Use a working dog food, feed more of it or revert back to puppy food.

^^^ what he said ^^^

Also add a good quality fish oil. I use wild salmon oil, higher in omega 3 & 6. good on the coat and skin as well as helps with the eczema but also good for putting the weight on. i was feeding fish in sunflower oil but was told on more than one occasion that Salmon oil was better and wild was better still than farmed.
