Made me feel cold just looking at them Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  very nice pics

Did you use a polarising filter as the sky looks very dramatic?

Les :good:

i did on the ones i took with the 18/55 lens lez .. i had a good one but lost it.. so brought a cheapo one off e bay & its not half as good so i have had to fiddle a bit with editing on the bulk of them

i am fairly happy with the results but i am still learning about the manual side of the camera so just trying to get to grips with f stops etc

Although it was bright enough yesterday there was a layer of fog in front of the sun so i found that hard to work out settings wise & trying to get cattle with any definition against all that white was way beond me

What i should have done but didnt is use my little fifty mm lens but its a total pig to focus .. but it does go down to 1.4 i think .. i might have another try later if i can find the lens

A graduated Grey filter would enhance sky n Snow type shots or maybe a Red/ Purple graduate- I love filters so very versatile and do add a certain drama to some shots

Love to see some more

Looking lovely as always Kay. I've got a 50mm f/1.8 and its a fantastic lens, apart from when your trying to take portrait shots, you get a focused nose and blurry eyes

Your pics are always nice to see :)

I haven't attempted to use it for portrait pic's but once you get used to the way it shunts back & forth to get the focus it takes some lovely pics

I havent been out since friday as i have a streaming cold but as soon as i feel a bit better i am going to try some landscapes with it

Oh I see, mine is manual focus, M42 to EOS mount so no auto on it :)
