.17 hummer
No wonder the antis jump down our throats with the amount of ****wit replys on this thread. Some sportsmen. Tam. tam i think you, and any anti reading these threads should take them as they should be. that is as harmless banter. but let us not forget the rspb s own figureof a conservative ten million yes ten millioon song birds killed every year by cats in this country. i believe that if your cat kills a songbird that you should pay the same fine as you would if you shot a blackbird in your garden with an air rifle. ie 2000 pounds. i wonder how many cat owners would then say a cat was their legal property

Maori Haz
You have to live with it, I have a cat, but it attracts many male kitttys and these cats mark their territory a lot, so lots of the time they **** in our utility room! stupid lil things but what can you do, just chase em off and they won't like going in ur garden again, oh and another powerful repellant.... WATER. my cat HATES it, maybe a few water balloons.... :o MH Edited February 15, 2006 by Maori Haz
arjimlad
I have found orange peel to be effective. They don't like the pong. But maybe this would only work to stop them stopping around on the borders to do a ****. As for keeping them off the pigeons, how big is your garden ? Maybe a small electric fence type arrangement might work around the dovecote (if that's what you call it).. after all, it works on huge release pens. Cranfield
No wonder the antis jump down our throats with the amount of ****wit replys on this thread. Some sportsmen. Tam. As some of the more outlandish/unacceptable suggestions were either meant as jokes, or condemned by other contributors , it was decided to leave them on the thread. It is a difficult decision whether to totally sanitize threads to remove any silliness, dissent, barely disguised obscene language, etc. We try to allow all views to be represented. Hopefully, we usually get it right.

pavman
guys plz don’t get silly, they are cats, for **** sake just like you and I, they eat **** **** and sleep, they don’t endear themselves to us all as they often do it where some would rather they did not, a simple spray with water if you are in the right place at the right time should do the trick and no harm done, pavman, the voice of reason (but only today)
