Beardo
Firefox is good - Chrome is very good.
spiceychilli57
Firefox is good - Chrome is very good. Both good browsers, both easier to use and more secure than internet explorer
DSPUK
Firefox on Linux Mint is even better. Dave
apache
I use FF, seems faster than IE.
Billy.
Keep the Cache settings low in FF and you'll find it runs quick. I'd be tempted to say Safari, but it lacks a couple of bits that I love in FF, such as "I'm feeling lucky" as a search option in the URL bar. Try it. Type 'eBay UK' or 'pigeonwatch' in the URL bar with no .com or .co.uk Edited January 13, 2011 by Billy.
Glensman
FF is best because of ad-ons. I use Ad-block plus (BRILLIANT) BE dictionary Fast Dial Colourful tabs All enhance my browsing. IE is simply ****.

AVB
I tried it recently. It won't play ITV catchup on my Mac. Safari does
Bleeh
If you want to watch your life waste away, install the 'stumpleupon' Add-on for firefox.
casts_by_fly
I'm a firefox user since before I got my mac (had IE6 on PC previously which made me convert to FF). I've all but deleted safari because I like firefox. I use 'new tab king' on firefox as my primary add on. Check that one out if you visit a handful of sites regularly. It makes short work of going to your favorite sites. I also have a translator add-on, and a 'find-replace' add on for typing in web forums and copying the same post across different forums where HTML and picture links require different text. So may cool add ons available. Thanks rick
lincs1963
I use firefox for internet and thunderbird for email and I reckon they are both better than microsofts offerings!
vole
Firefox is good but I went for Chrome eventually . Nice tidy appearance and fast .
George1990
I find Opera to be really good, though it has problems with some plug-ins. Both FF and IE take a good 5 minutes to start on my PC, and then they're slow. They invented tabbed browsing and it uses mouse gestures which is useful. It's also very fast. Dorsey
Firefox is a huge improvement over internet explorer - and as people say, the add-ons you can get for it make it hugely versatile. However each 'add-on' can show as an additional task in task manager and the combined memory usage of it can start to drag slower computers down a little. Google's Chrome browser is sleek and minimal and seems to run most things pretty well. Either of those two get my vote

Dorsey
Hmm. Firefox also makes you post twice in Pigeonwatch forums - so that's a consideration for you.
