Sprackles
Seems strange that a head gamekeeper would not have a SGC. I take it the bird was a hawk of some kind.

Frenchieboy
I suspect that there is more to this than we are being told at the moment! Let's wait till we have some more details before we offer too many comments! Funnily enough I am waiting for a phone call from Ian Clark as I write this! MC
Is this the very same Ian Clarke of SACS fame? If so are we about to see the might of the SACS? No thought not

Taking game out of season could be catching up after the season ended. The firearms offences could be technicalities and breaches of conditions from those wordings, this quote is interesting "possessing a shotgun or rifle for committing a wildlife offence" so maybe he did take the odd BOP but all we are hearing is what the RSPB are saying and they are notoriously iffy this article says a fair bit more, http://raptorpersecutionscotland.wordpress.com/ Edited January 27, 2011 by al4x

No thought not  Not too sure on that one! Ian Clark of SACS does not spell his name with an "e" on the end, but this could easily just be a typing error, who knows? al4x
the interesting bit is its probably true as they don't have a great love of raptors there. Its an interesting shoot being as far as I know mostly a wild bird shoot.
