Fatcatsplat
Do they have a local kebabery?
bakerboy
I am up for a trip no matter where. Southwold sounds good, but I do agree with the stainless steel vat comment. Terry
ME
Just for the sake of research I have just had a couple of pints of Pride in my work local and it is noticeably better than Fullers own pub, how can that be? Licking a dogs bottom tastes noticeably better than most bitters IMHO. That Honeydew one was the nearest to lager and therefore quite drinkable. I am in, but only for the alcohol, not for the beardy chin scratching

garyb
We might as well just all meet in covent garden then? I don't mind either way!
bakerboy
And lets have a whip (cash) to pay for the rounds, it is easier that way. Covent garden sound good. Or you could Vinopolis, the wine tour that is good fun, Southwark just the other side of London Bridge, next to the Clink. Sorry if we have too many suggestions nothing may happen, Gary come up with your choice and I am sure we will go with that. Dunkield
To be honest London is the most sensible place, almost anyone can find their way back from there, would probably need to save up though, as Bakerboy says having a whip would make sense. Or the Munich Beer Festival of course....
Gnome of the Woods
Some bloody good pubs in Soho, at least 10 all within 5 mins of each other.

PhilR
Hook Norton is a interesting brewery to visit, unfortunately it is in the back of beyond so here's a virtual tour instead. That'll save valuable drinking time traipsing round it http://www.hooknortonbrewery.co.uk/virtual_tour/start.html Edited March 18, 2011 by philr
