buzzer1
Just 1 rotor ( used when needed) Dead birds ( that i keep back from prev weeks shoot) usally 15 / 20 , then add shot birds to pattern as I shoot them. 8 full bodied decoys ( that are the proper size and dont scare the hell out of the in coming pigeon ..... a lot of decoys now a days are huge !!!) All the best Buzz
iamspartacus
I usually start off with 20 ish shell deeks, and a couple of bouncers. They don't seem to like the magnet round here too much especially on OSR (if anyone is able to suggest a reason for this it would be interesting to hear suggestions??), but if things are goin badly I'll usually get it out just to make sure! As usual with this lark, what works one day don't work the next......
henry d
Same as remmy(cept the pecking pigeon) but pull in the shells as the bodies mount. I pull in the shells faster on a calm clear day,but tend to leave em on a windy dull day.
neilbe2
about 24 deeks, 2 bouncers and 1 magnet ( used only sometimes) and that works very well usually. i dont take the magnet & battery when theres a good walk cos im a lazy b**tard! :yp:

Whitebridges
jonn0 357, Hi mate 12 rubber full bodied and 17 shells. Sometimes I use a magnet but usually only when the barley or wheat is laid. That bird on our left is a bit of of rum 'un. Has she got tooth ache? If you could make her *** or knock her on the head i'd be really grateful, it's starting to upset me.Everytime I look for a bit of tranquility on here, she's doing that look.Don't get me wrong if she's ill I fully understand. Thanks mate Edited March 8, 2006 by Whitebridges
Woody
Hi Jonno, depends on what the field is like where I shoot, but I normaly take :- 30 Flocked Shells Decoys, 4 x 6ft Floaters, 4 Flappers (sometimes mounted on 6ft poles) 1 Magnet, 1 crow decoy, As you can see I like lots of movement that the birds can see from a long way off... Oh and 2 big net bags to carry all the dead pigeons to my car Woody
