Or where I can get my licence for "free shooting"? Alternatively, can someone tell me how to become "suitably qualified" to write articles for the papers? Would I need a lobotomy? Cannon
Let's say for the sake of arguement that you trap 20 squirrels in one year. Are you really going to pay £600 for a vet to dispose of them humanely? It amazes me the tripe these people talk sometimes. Plus I wouldn't be too keen on trapping a squirrel in a bag and beating it to death. Even so, I'd best go on a squirrel in the sack beating course and get proper qualified before I attempt it for free

Davy Holt
Hiya, I must admit I've been concerned about this for a while, I just didn't think a pellet to the napper from my FAC Rapid was killing them quickly enough so now use my .222 on them when they are on the deck (yes I have vermin on my ticket)and that seems to kill them quite quickly (it also skins, guts, dices and minces them in one go :) ) Edited February 19, 2011 by Davy Holt

It was my understanding that Raymond Elliot received private funding for an appeal? Does anyone know if this was so? Has the appeal been heard? webber
FalconFN
I think it's a good idea, we don't want people without a special squirrel licence shooting our little furry friends. Surely it's common sense to trap them, put them in a bag, drive them to a vet, wait in the waiting room for half an hour and then have laughing vet give it a lethal jab. Much more sensible.
