Personally the best thing for tree stumps I have used is Ammonium Sulphamate, a good brand name is Amcide, it comes in crystal form so just drill some 10mm holes straight down into the tree stump fill with crystals and cover with a plastic bag. One dead tree stump!!

You could use one of the glyphosate products, but if you do don't buy your Round-up or whatever from a garden centre, buy it from an Agricultural Merchant as the active ingredients are naff all in the B&Q bought stuff. The Round-Up I use is called Round-up Pro Biactive, another good glyphosate based product is Gallup Amenity, both of these have good active ingredient levels, 360g/litre if I remember correctly. But if you use either of these as a generall weedkiller you'll need to dilute them about 30:1 depending on what you're trying to kill of course!

Hope this helps :good:
