TJ91
i use bog standard shell decoys cheap, light and work as with all decoys, some days they work other days they dont, if your in the right place at the tright time the pigeons would come to a solitary shell or full bodied decoy i use 12 shell deeks, sometimes on spring sticks when on tall rape stubble or laid crops soemtimes stick out a few more when decoying winter time when they ar eflocked up Edited February 23, 2011 by TJ91
paddywack12
a dozen flocked shells on "metal banding" sticks is my usual set up. I have a dozen normal shells that I sometimes use to add to the pattern.
Cosd
Definitely shell over full body, simply due to the space taken up by full body when transporting. I've never read of any advantages of full over shells either, other than for lofting. Flocked will again be the better of the two as they have no shine whatsoever.
