Been decoying woodies today bagged 70 from 09.00 to 15.00,The first flight kept comming so i left the shot woodies where they fell util it settled down.I left my gun unloaded & broke in the hide and set out to collect the birds 'cup of tea and hobnob' in hand, out of the dyke ran a fox, nabbed a woodie and nicked off.It was that close i thought about throwing me welly at it!

Never seen anything like it in my life.

I had one nick one of the rabbits I had just shot last week...I saw its eyes in the lamp and though that's a big rabbit, it looked straight at me, picked up the bunny and ******** off!

I had that happen to me once, since then, paunch, hock and hang (or hurdle on a stick and carry) out of reach of Charlie! Not letting them nick me dinner any more!
