Yes I did,

That's 4 less, I just can't believe he waited so long to do anything about them. I would have only lost one lot before charlie got lead poisoning.

It was nice to see the local council supporting an enterprising business though. Well done suffolk county council, collect your gold star from the front of the class. ;)

Cheers

He did seem to dither about before getting the boys in.

Martin you are local'ish, do you know those blokes?

As for council, bloody typical, but I don't live at the end of his road so it wouldn't affect me. If I did, and I bought a nice house on a quiet lane and them hundreds of cars bombed past every weekend I may object :)

If I was him I would push the web based mail order business harder, so he can make the money without the **** ache of the car park / council etc..

I like his missus, anyone who describes Red Tape as a 'pile of ####' is OK by me ;)

I was a bit partial to his missus as well but had more to do with the tops she was wearing :)

It was a good programme and did show what farmers have got to do to make money these days, by producing a quality product and I'm guessing those pigs taste so much better than the usual factory farmed rubbish.

Shame the fox shooter didn't kill it any cleaner for the cameras and that they waited till the next day to pick it up! The council people didn't want to be filmed as they already knew they were going to refuse everything he wanted to do. Some of which I can see would be a pain if you lived on the road but yes Mailorder and a proper retail outlet is probably what he needs to focus on

I do not know those particular guys who shot that fox, each village/area tends to have it's own and ours are a couple of old boys in a landie with a proper swivel chair setup on the back who patrol most of the farms at night.

They quite often get 15-20 a week.

I agree that it was a pity that fox was not a clean kill and they waited until morning to collect it. Still we're damned if we do and we're damned if we don't!

I for one will still shop there, Good luck to him.

Theres far too much **** food around.

Cheers

yes very good program , only thing that dosn't strike true is all the new kit about , NEW 4x4 , with NEW ifor trailer , NEW compact tractors etc , most farm enterprises of that size , would be knocking about with 10 or more ,year old stuff , the BBC must pay well is all i can say , but gives an in-site to the problems in farming , that has been, all but ruined by the supermarkets . with the anything if its cheap mentality .
