Nicky T
What a thoroughly nice place Grimsthorpe is Unfortunately i didn't do myself justice at all finishing three shy of the half way mark - could get going at all today, so definitely one chalked up to experience. Best of luck Lyn - you'll do yourself proud i'm sure
paulos
What a fantastic shoot that was! The targets were superb and the setting couldn't be better. As above, I didn't do it justice though. I started off quite strongly, only missing odd ones and was shooting quite steadily until a pair of simo r-l loopers about half way round and then just unravelled. Dropped 4 on there and then seemed to be on a doomer until the end. I dropped 15 over my last 4 stands, which gave my score the coup de grace. I did pick up a brown envelope there today though so not a total loss It has "Rice" written on it though, so I'm guessing it's some sort of 'boil-in-the-bag' I'll probably have it with some curry later on Edited April 2, 2011 by paulos

DSPUK
Good ground - shot British or English there in about 98-99 - it's a long way for me or I would go again. Dave
Chard
Well, I did promise myself that I wasn't shooting this weekend, with The Cheshire Police Shield on Thursday and the Essex Masters next weekend I found myself talking with Beretta on Facebook at some God-forsaken hour last night about Grimsthorpe, which ended with him PMing me, saying he'd pick me up at 7:30 this morning :o :o :o Bullying So we went What a great shoot that was. Not easy, but great targets. The weather was beautiful, though it rained like a ******* all the way home. Brian shot an 81 and I managed 71 Saw Aunty there and she shot a 61 Definitely one of the better shoots I've been to. Well organised and testing. We just had one trap breakdown, otherwise it went like clockwork

We just had one trap breakdown, otherwise it went like clockwork That was a proper shoot fantastic weather today makes you think this game is worth doing. Finished on an 83 but apart from missing to many first birds which tells me I need to shoot there more often and not think I'm shooting a normal weekend cause there was no letting up after stand 1. Great shoot
