COACH
If well looked after ALL is good. The 303 and the Browning B80 are the best and most reliable auto`s ever made. I`d have another one tomorrow if I had the room in the cabinet.
Dekers
Nothing is BAD about the 303, the forend wood is a little wide for my liking. That's as bad as I can think of anything about it. My lad was bought up on my 303 and fell in love with it!
Spiderdude
I was told by two different dealers that the only downside to a 303 is that some parts are no longer in production, so if one of those parts fail the your stuffed. Though, it was pointed out that very few things go wrong.....
Spara Dritto
If you are looking for spare parts for a gun, I wouldn't be suprised if UK Gun Repairs would be able to make the spare bit up or have something that would work as good. vmaxphil
all good if you stick to 28g cartridges
mickmep
had one and personally would rather spend the relatively small extra amount to buy a 391 beretta. quite nice and a reliable semi auto but the 391 feels nicer and smoother in my opinion. lots of A303's suffer fron the forend wood loosening on the metal end fixing. not much of a problem, just get a bit of movement in the forend. mine cycled 28 gram clay loads no problem, but the 391 will do 24's and some say 21's although i've not tried any in mine. marlin vs
The b80 and any of the 300 series have to be the most tested and reliable semi/autos out there.

VicW
As far as spare parts are concerned there is no problem. The trigger group from a 303 will fit a modern 391,I know because I have done it while trying to cure a problem with a 391. Spares such as recoil springs are available from here:- http://www.brignoliarmi.com/index.php?lingua=uk My last 303 would cycle 28gm loads but not 24gm. The slight movement of the forend that some 303's have can be resolved by packing the metal spacer between the receiver and the forend. It's not a serious fault, just annoying. Vic. skinny
My 303 has been great, the fore end tightening lug broke and i got a replacement pretty easily. Mine is a real work horse and has not let me down, cant realy think whats bad about it. Edited April 7, 2011 by skinny
Andy H
+ 1 for http://www.brignoliarmi.com/index.php?lingua=uk they ship very quick and are cheap for beretta spares , GMK( Importers) wanted over £120-00 + VAT for a locking block for a A300 but brignoliarmi cost £ 32-00 including shipping. harwoody
I swear by my B303a. It is reliable and works well with 28g and 30g which i often use. dont oil it too much. i know some that will fire it dry. make sure that the port holes in the barrel and stock are regularly checked for blockage. Outstanding gun
