Hello all,

Maybe there are some other Australian members here as well as me.

I shoot with a Beretta Siver Pigeon S Sporting with 30 inch barrels and it's my pride and joy. I use it for clay pigeons as well as shooting foxes, crows, rabbits, hares and of course pigeons. Mainly I shoot on a family property of about 3,500 acres. Most recently taking some crows, pigeons and an adult male fox.

I also have a custom 6mmBR built on a Stiller action with a Nightforce NXS scope and this is my main spotlighting rifle and I have a 500 metre range measured out for the target loads.

I have some photos which I'll try to find and get some posted. We all love gun and game pictures!

Cheers

Dave

Welcome aboard mate! Never mind all the silly questions about Fosters and shrimps on the barbie, why not just tell us if the Ausie Shielas are as hot as they are made out to be - You can use some photos to answer that question if you like! He. he, he!

Ok. G'day cobbers, thanks for the warm welcome. I'll bring you up to speed on what's going on here in the outback where all Aussies live. Apart from those on the beach.

I did know Steve Irwin but I've never been bitten by a croc, I have seen a few. Never bitten by a snake or spider but have had close calls.

I love prawns on the barbie and boxing with my pet kangaroo, although he is a cagey ******* and you have to be quick.

I have seen a shark too but couldn't get him on the boat.

No we don't drink Fosters, we just export the stuff. The world doesn't know yet that we don't like it, so just keep that between us.

By the way, my back yard is bigger than Norfolk according to my atlas. I found a lost tribe out there last week.

Better go now, gotta shear some sheep!

Cheers

Dave

I misread that for a moment and thought, "he's not Aussie, he's Welsh"! Good post, you'll fit in with a sense of humour like that. Welcome

That's a good one, we say that about New Zealanders!!!

My ancestors came from Wales back in 1853 so you may be onto something. I put the dragon in my avatar for that reason.

You know, if you wear velcro gloves the sheep can't get away.

Velcro? You've clearly forgotten your Welsh heritage. Constant rain, big wellies, sheep's back legs tucked into welly tops........... Allegedly :yp:
