Markio
I can only suggest Simpsons of Newmarket, i dropped in there for the first time 2 weeks ago on my way through. Can't vouch for cartridge selection though as i knew what i wanted and they had them.

Alanl50
AS your only in Sudbury go to Essex Shooting Supplies nr Colchester they are certainly the cheapest 2 weeks ago I bought 1000 Gamebore clear pigeon £189ish under £190 if my memory is right, cheaper than Eastern sporting, I use to use clarkes of walsham le willows but sadly they have become less competative, I like to support all my local shops but the reality is a couple of them you need a morgage to enter pm me if you want the address Alan

guest1957
I'll second Clarkes of Walsham, they tend to have a good range in decent quantities.

Admiral Von Tirpitz
Essex Shooting supplies just outside Colchester are good and also have good stock of FAC rounds. Fennes as mentioned above now have a shop but yet to visit it. If not try Mallards Barn shop in Wattisham, Richard there has a good range of rounds and other items. There is one in Newton Green near Sudbury, but despite being just up the road, I have not been in, not sure they are that cheap! gonk69
just to give you a comparrison, i got a price from mallards for, cz452 style 22lr with hawke panorama and sak mod, was quoted by richard £700 even though told him this would lead to two more guns, but he still said 700 was the best he could do, so i went to essex shooting supplies, i got the cz452 style, sak mod, scope, mounts, swivels, sling, gun bag, bipod and 450 winchester subs for a grand total of £605 bargain or what, cheers matt
busbiter
Essex shooting supplies for me also. Good thing is if you only want 100 cartridges they will charge you same price as if buying 1000. Birds at Gt Blakenham do stock cartridges also but not sure on their prices as only ever buy 16's which are expensive where ever you buy them! chapperz1991
I recently bought a franchi raptor from mallard barn and i must say i was very pleased with the service, had the usual free box of clear pigeon chucked in to sweeten the deal, i also purchased my .410 bolt action from taylors of sudbury, good service but like you said quite expensive and not much choice in the shotgun department but if your looking for an air rifle they have quite a few in the 'gunroom'. I definately need to have a look at fennes as i will be looking for a o/u soon and have read a lot of good reviews. Paul.
