-Mongrel-
Depends on the gun...I like AirArms Field though. Very consistent and accurate through the S400. You do need to try a few brands and see what works best in your gun though.

gixxerboy
Get your dad to buy you a couple of sample packs off the ebay site and you get 10 packs of 20 pellets to try so you can see which ones group the best... the tightest group you get are the ones to use in your rifle mate... durbsguy
JSB work well in my guns in .177 and the JSB Express when I can get my hands on them, work wonders on woodies.
FalconFN
Start with JSB exact or Air Arms as they seem to be pretty good in many rifles.
darren 67
i use webley mosquitoes .177 through my aa s400 and it loves them. Shoots flat and quite fast so a bit easier on learning hold over for me as not been shooting airrifle for long. Think they are a bit lighter than superdomes but still nice clean kills. UKPoacher
In springers try JSB Exact RS. A bit lighter than normal Exacts and with all the accuracy and stopping power you'll ever need.

bullet boy
I use Bisley Magnums in all my .177 guns and use Accupell and H+N Field Target Trophy in my .22's.
secretagentmole
Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums or Prometheus Defiants! Use in both my Super 10s, accurate, hit hard and very good quality. had a problem with Air Arms pellets a while back, over a third of a tin was unusable, took them back, got another tin, same again, same with a third tin, so swapped to Prometheus. The price in .177 may seem high but you do get 1000 pellets!
