Mungler
1/2. Well that's a lie, because I have sworn never to venture to the DTL darkside of shooting again. English sporting and the live stuff for me only from now on.
MC
I tried it at the weekend with cyl and 1/4 and I wouldn't recomend it. out of the first five birds I broke two. I would not shoot it again without 3/4 and full. Cheers Martin

Catamong
LG, It does pay to take a few more than 100 shells with you if shooting a 100 bird trap layout. Cat.

dazza
a lot of people say it's easy but I find it difficult, anybody else find it hard?
Ears
I use 1/2 and 3/4 for DTL and i have shot a few 25 straights this way over the years. for olympic trench and Auto ball trap i use 3/4 and full as they are a little quicker and the second barrel shots are getting a little farther distance out. I would not say its easy but desires a lot of concentration to shoot it straight. But yes as a disipline in the whole i do find it boring. I prefer to shoot english sporting or skeet.
