Catamong
When they've hoovered up all of the Acorns, Beech Mast and Ivy Berries. Sometimes they won't touch the rape until the end of January. :o Cat.

Cranfield
The birds have been grouping up in my area for the last few weeks and there are some flocks of close to 100 birds about. I have found mainly seed wheat, winter beans and a small amount of rape in their crops. Areas around the country do seem to differ, but its still a bit early for a real concentrations on the rape. Farmer-of-the-Futre
Belive me, most years they will get on the rape in big numbers around the beggining of november. Im a farmers son and we spend about 2 hours a day scaring pigeons off the rape. You will mainly see them in greater numbers when it gets cold, they then flock together (mabey for warmth)
