tarn2215
For those of you who read it, the January issue of Clay shooting went on sale yesterday and it featured OddJob! Or at least the shhoting club from his school! Having now seen the pupils in action I can tell you there are some seriously good shots in group! bakerboy
Lets keep this thread on the right track. It is about Neal/oddjob and all the hard work he has done to get this clay shooting club off the ground , not about next years shooting competitions . Sorry to be a bit picky, but here is someone working against the odds, to try and get youngsters involved in our sport .

It was the title of the thread that drew me into leading this thread off track - apologies. Well done Neal - wish that the article was more about you and your club though than Ben's crusade to help young shooters
tarn2215
Nicky I can understand where you are coming from with that but it is difficult to get the media biting without a name that they know involved but there will be follow up articles so I am sure your comment will be logged and taken on board

You need to get yourself on the Benelli SP'AUTO instead. Oh yeah and try and keep this thread on track Please...Some people I tell ya... LRXS
Well done Oddjob, great publicity for your fantastic project. I really do think this is worthwhile, and i hope that this has whetted interest in follow-up articles, sponsorship etc. I'm sure Ben is lovely, but how about Abbey Burton coaching your club on Fieldsports Britain - I'd watch that. Twice I know that you and the other coaches and helpers shy away from self-publicity, but well done to the lot of ya. PS - that doesn't mean I won't continue to stay away from Fennes when you're there - kids still scare the bejeezus out of me! Once was enough! Lol!
