I wonder which area these lads work?

Very thoughtful of them, but in this day and age email inboxes work though the holiday period, staying open at all hours!

<_<

I'm not sure what you expect BASC to do about it?

Put together a crack squad of mercenaries to raid the local gypsy site?

Thanks for the vehicle details linny.

I'm using a mates computer at the moment, but when I get mine back I will send the video to BASC. I doubt anything would come of it, but I see it as doing my bit, and maybe something might be done on the off chance. Im sure if fieldsports britain received it they would have a few words to say, but as we all know it is common place and catching people like this is hard at the best of times. Does anyone have the email address for Charlie from the program? The only contact i can find is via facebook publicly.

With all respect, I don't think BASC or Fieldsports Britain will be able to do anything about this. It's a police matter surely? If you have a wildlife crime unit in your area that would be a good start.

From the DirectGov Wildlife Crime page:

Report information about suspected wildlife crime

If you have any information about wildlife crimes, or about people who have carried out wildlife crimes, report it to your local police. Many police forces have special wildlife crime officers. Check the website of your local police force, where details about the wildlife crime officer may be shown. You can also ring your local police station using their usual non-emergency number and ask to speak to the wildlife crime officer.

If you do not wish to give your name you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They will pass on details about wildlife crime to the correct police force.

I am sure its either

07471231035

or

07471281035

and maybe...

07411231035

Downloaded it MP4 at 1080, sliced it up, slowed it down, sharpened it and zoomed in. Flickered the focussed number frames at 5/sec. I am bored!

We have problems with poachers lamping all the time, but think they tend to use guns and dogs on our land... not catapults. I noticed they hit a few birds in this vid and don't finish them, they just move onto another bird. Made me a bit angry, could one assume they dont have permission to go out and do this...

Can nearly see the reg plate in their film. Would be pretty funny if they are doing it illegally and have filmed the evidence...
