Ricko
With regard to lead-acid batteries my local scrap dealer doesn't take them any more, the recycling costs outweigh the value of the lead inside them. 1989/1990 i used to get 50p per battery. 88b
From past experience your average scrap place isn't the best place to take things apart from old cars. I found a place in Chelmsford that paid me £50 for old catalysts last year ,thet also take batterys lead and aluminium.
Imperfection
Approximately how much do they sell scrap lead per kilo? I need it for my 44 calibre pistol and it has to be soft lead.
