:good: Hi I have just signed up in the hope that I may find a Pigeon Shooting Mentor?

I have been shooting clays for 18 months and have experience shooting crows, rats, bunnies etc with a .22.

I am based in surrey but dont mind a drive!

I am really keen to get Pigeon shooting but only know what I have read in magazines and on the Web. I am reluctanlt to start approaching Farmers for shooting rights if I end up adding no value to them because I have no idea what I am doing.

I have a couple of 12g Shotguns and my cert and I listen and learn well, is there anyone out there who would not mind sharing a hide and showing a keen youngster (well 25) the ropes?

Thanks for listening everyone

Don't know what it's like around the country, but around here at the moment not much happening with pigeons, odd pockets on peas and spring rape, but not enough to try to show someone the ropes on. You'd probably never want to shoot pigeons again after sitting all day for 10 pigeons. Things will start to change when the peas are beginning to die down and the rape is swarthed. Maybe you'll get a few more takers then. Nobody wants to show anyone a poor day.
