Weekends bag on new permission

I had a good & bad weekend!

I got up at 4am on saturday, got all my gear ready for a beautiful mornings bunny bashing and headed off to a local sportsground that I've just been granted permission on. There was a bunny sat on the front lawn as I got to the front gate, 1st one in the bag and it was only 4.20am. I drove the Landy around picking off a futher 6, 3 of which were in a group that sat & watched their mates roll over & go to sleep

I then headed to an area that is heaving with rabbits and parked up along side a hedge 35 yds away, thats when things turned BAD!

I'd packed a small rucksack with some grub a container of water & video camera & digital camera, the Landy not being the smoothest of rides had managed to bounce the rucksack around in the back knocking the lid off the water container :P everything was soaked!

I spent the next half hour trying to dry out the cameras  while I was doing this there were about 20 rabbits sat around munching away, so I took out my anger on another 3 bunnys. Then I missed one :/ quickly reloaded and missed him again in front, I'd run out of air :good:

I called it a day with 10 bunnys in the bag, 2 ****** cameras :/

Next morning I was up at 4am again, and set off back to the sportsground with a fully charged rifle thanks to a trip to the gun shop and a purchase of a divers charging bottle, I wont run out of air again!

I ended the morning at 8am with 23 bunnys & 1 squirrel in the bag.

The video camera is well & truly ******* losing about an hour of great bunny & squirrel shooting :P

But the digital camera seems ok

My wife has gone absolutely mental at me for screwing up the video camera.

Cheers for the replys

Landy is a 109 series 3 ex MOD , the guy I bought it off was a bit of a military buff & traced its history, she apparantley served over in N. Ireland as a comms vehicle.

It is a perfect rabbitting/ pigeon shooting vehicle, well suited for my uses, blends in nicely alongside a hedge

I've even got a full tank net to throw over her should I really want to blend in :good:

As for the video camera, I think its knackered
