super sharp shooter
Im going to buy a hot smoker for meat and fish but not sure on what to get so I'm asking the PW massive for advice. Thanks
majordisorder
I've got one of these. It's about as basic as you can get, but does the job (just about) okay. Did find the smokeness a bit overpowering though with the free "smoking dust". It also gets very hot so it's quite easy to overcook fish if you're not careful. You can borrow mine it you want to give it a spin.

majordisorder
All good here, just busy with work as ever. It runs on little meths burners, but don't leave it on your decking as it gets a bit too hot.
FalconFN
I've got a basic smoker from Ronnie Sunshines which works pretty well. It came with wood chips but they were too strong so I ditched them and now use oak and apple chips.

appollo
I got a free standing brinkmann and it is brill. Looks like a small gun cabinet and you can hot and cold smoke 35kilo of meat at a go. The molasses bacon I do is superb. eBay or google it but don't get the ones that work on smoking biscuits too expensive to run.
working dog
I bought a ProQ smoker. Similar in design to the Webber but made in the UK. I'm very pleased with the results
Mungler
I had a go at it and gave up. I just couldn't get and or maintain the right heat level in my Brinkman based smoker. Most frustrating...
