Catweazle
I haven't seen a cane rod that is round, did you sand it round after joining the split section ?

stalker58
The rod took about 60 hours to make,it is hexagon in shape, not round! Must be bad photographs. You start with a bamboo pole, which is about 12ft long, the bamboo is actually a grass. If you google Thomas Penrose bamboo rods, you will have a good idea what's involved in making bamboo fly rods. Thanks for the comments, any questions please ask. Cheers Wayne
