killer_pigeon
Definitly take both SGC & FAC and credit card. you never know what you may see Have a look at some of the exhibitors websites now before going and take a note of gun prices. I found some of them hike up the prices specially for shows and have consequently stood there embarrased when you ask them "why is this gun £100 more today then it was before the show" watch them squirm otherwise its a good day out and good to see most of the makes under 1 roof. looking at the exhibitors list a lot of the regulars have pulled out this year unless they havent been added yet?. always remember if it gets you away from other half for a day to stand about drooling about guns its always a good day

onefulham
I know not the same but we go around the country in our caravan and the only place we have had, and personnel heard of others having theft problems, is Clumber Park Caravan Club site just down the road, shame because it is a really nice site and people running it. dan-250
That's just Newark. ****** are everywhere, If you take a nice dog keep it with you, You want to see how many gather there when they have a funeral on, I bet you couldn't get another car on that showground car park. Newark is a very rough place at night, and All the posh cars/farmers/and money is like a gold mine to them. Hide the sat nav and things like that to, as alot of the Newark marshal/direction people are just as bad. That said I don't know if this show brings their own staff to do the carparking. Hide your valuables.

Grandalf
Went last year for the first time. Would not make the effort again. Few gunshops - Lesser optics and night vision. Hardly any bargains. Junk clothing and things that nobody wants.
bostonmick
never been to a show yet where you get genuine bargains, best way to buy is from private seller, but then with the cost of stands at these places its no wonder, but you can still have a good day out. smiiithy
I went for the first time last year. Going both days again this time. You can get round it all in a day if you want but we like to make a weekend of it. There are some good targets on the sporting clays and the rabbit mania stand that was there last year was good fun.
