Scully
I have no idea how much they cost, but any Tikka dealer should be able to get you one. Can I ask you why you want one? It's your choice obviously, but a mate has one on his .223 T3 tactical and the noise and concussive blast either side of the muzzle is horrendous...impressive,but horrendous. Alycidon
Please dont, you wont be shooting with your mates if you do, the noise standing beside the shooter is dreadful. I have a mate who also posts here that used to have one on his 22.250, that might now be available, thank god !!. Ground shook when he touched one off ! EMcC
I had one on my 30-06 and tried it on the range when I first got it, fantastic, just a gentle push into the shoulder, wonderful, then decided to hear what it sounded like without my ear defenders !!!! WHOOOOH !!! oh my god, my head felt as if both ears were being pierced with a poker, nearly turned the inside of my head to jelly. I had a splitting headache for the rest of the afternoon. I haven't used it since but it looks nice in my cupboard !!

Ackley
does anyone know where i can get a muzzle brake for a tikka t3 .223 varmint and how much do they cost mikky the "Vias" break is classed as one of the best, theres a loy of copies around but they dont work as designed, the ports and exit hole has to be right for it to fubction correctly Vias will send you one direct take a look on there wem site, they do need to be fitted correctly though, the gap from muzzle to the fisrt baffle has to be right so it catches the bullet corrtly when fired, its not just a case of screwing one on I use one there great http://www.muzzlebrakes.com/ Edited February 21, 2012 by Ackley
steve_b_wales
I have one, taken off a .308. But the thread size is different to the 'standard' 1/2" UNF Is the barrel on your rifle already threaded?

Scully
There's a blast from the past!Didn't Frank Brennan train with Terry O'Neil in the red Trianglr dojo in Liverpool in the '80's?Think they both moved from Shotokan to Kyokushinko(knockdown)if memory serves.
