shaun4860
Thing is, it will be black and white on return, Up here (Northumbria) they are going black and white to save costs on colour ink
bruno22rf
My daughter has taken mine for both SGC and FAC on her cheap digital camera -even the most basic printer should have 35x45 or passport size print capability-to date I have had no problems at all-cost is negligible compared to £5+ at a photo booth. Sharpshooter.123
It has to be colour when it gets to them and they can do whatever they like, I asked my feo and he said colour pictures although they may be black and White on the certificate in the future atb with his application
Blunderbuss
Yer colour and has to be professional pictures I believe Yes to colour no to proffessional. I did my own for SGC & FAC with a digital camera on self timer, then printed them on a home ink jet printer. As long as you use a decent background and lighting, size them correctly and print on proper glossy paper they're better than photo booth ones and much cheaper. utectok
Interestingly you can actually do your own passport photos to now if you follow the guidelines I've done the whole families last time they needed doing.
TbirdX
I did mine and the Mrs at home, plain background, Kodak digital camera, Canon printer and photo glossy paper and used this site to crop and print them to the correct size. Easy peasy http://www.idphoto4you.com/
danb21t
This annoys me.. you spend £5 for 4 ID sized photos, now when you get the bloody certificate back its bloody printed!
Greymaster
Regardless of who takes it you will still look like a criminal in the image! That's so true. I look like I have a robber's stocking over my head in mine, even though I took it off for the mugshot!
cowboy1403
it may be black and white on the cert but on their database it will be in colour. all to do with id.they need to know hair colour, skin tone and things like that you cant get that from a black and white photo.
