tikka.223
As per title for replies from N.Ireland members. How many foxes are you seeing when out lamping or out for a walkabout through the day?

Cannon
I've never seen one during the day, but I'd see at least one per night. Hit a field with the torch a couple of weeks ago and there were 2 foxes, 2 buzzards and loads of rabbits running around oblivious to their danger lol. tikka.223
The reason I ask is because over my permissions from the beginning of the year the numbers arent there.
Cannon
I don't go out of my way to shoot foxes as I have no reason to, but recently one of the farmers has asked me to shoot them when I can. There are pet ducks on one of my permissions and apparently the local foxes are having their wicked way. Don't know if centrefire would get signed off for the land. I wouldn't be too optimistic. Would you go after the foxes yourself?
the enigma
I haven't seen any about in a good while. I've been up at night checking cows,on and off since Christmas, and you'd usually hear them barking, but I haven't heard any so far this year. tweedledee
wiped out??? i don`t think so! i seldom shoot them as they don`t do me any harm,i could stand on my back doorstep and call them in to 50 yds from me.i do it quite often.it`s a bad year if i don`t see a vixen and her young in the field at the back of my house every year when she brings them out. don`t know what it`s like else where but there are plenty here. spotted 5 the last early morning i was out with hte nv
