Getting ready for the budget; looking down the back of the settee to see if there's another £1 to give the robbing ********

I bet its give with one hand and take double with the other

The taking will be from midnight and the giving will be early next year

the real reason was thatcher yes this corruption goes that far back ***************************************.

Every Labour donkey blames Thatcher.....

If you lot had your way she would blamed for the downfall of everything,

Poll tax apart she just about got it right.

"King" Arthur Scargill didnt have the bottle to take her on, now he is still sniping away from the sidelines,

Lord and Lady Kinnock (dont make me laugh) Anti everything until they realised how much they could screw for themselves if they became Euro MP's

Tony Blair, richest ex prime minister in history,

Yes i can see why you hate the tories, they only look after their own kind, unlike the above.

basically what have they all got in common greed greed greed wheres the coal industry, the mining industry british railways. infact what industry did survive the thatcher years?

Will be interesting to see what survives the mess Labour has left us in.

Didnt the note left in the Treasury say "good luck there is no money left"

Labour signed us up to the Human rights act, Cruella Blair does ok out of that.

Labour brought in unreachable green targets, Blair's ego got us that one

Up the workers!!

The thing is that people will keep blaming the tories until the next election,

Vote labour back in and watch as we follow Greece into oblivion....

you dont have to vote anyone in not that you can anyway lol we dont have elected governments here anymore see last 2 prime ministers for proof lol we are already in the greece mess they just not told you yet !!maybe the coalition will leave you a note when they go. anyway back to the original post yes we will be robbed we always are. for the record i dont support labour or the tories im disappointed in all of them and i get no joy from saying bad things about this once great nation. i would vote for any party that offered a sensible solution to our problems and stuck to it.

Neoliberalism got us into this mess. Doesn't matter whether it was Labour neoliberals who de-regulated or Tory neoliberals who deregulated, the mess is the same. Callaghan sold us out to the IMF restructuring programme mid 70s, Thatcher took it further and boasted about doing so, Major and Blair/Brown did exactly the same. All the economies that have been goverened by neoliberal parties are in the ****, and not getting out of it fast.

Hmm. Let's have a look at the UK deficit then.

Can you guess which years were the UKs highest ever years for deficit ( before the world economy crashed in 2009 ) ?

I'll tell you,

1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 . The last years of a long Tory government.

Oh come on...New Labour (Bliar et al) borrowed every year of the 13 years (never ever balanced their budget). They pushed up the National Debt year on year ending up with the credit crunch that spread from that twerp Bush via CDOs and New Labour insisting the FSA did nothing despite what King advised.

Dear me.

It is probably very wrong, but it seems to be how the whole British population think and act. Thats why they get away with treating us like mugs whatever the party.

No point in arguing which party caused it because it's irrelevant, we are deep in the mire and only the people of this once great country can get us out of it.

the bottom line is as everyone can agree on here all these posts are of the negatives both the tory and labour parties have achieved not much positive stuff is there? because basically they both messed it up royally truth is neither were ever fit to govern but what else did we have? lets hope the future holds better leaders than the past. more honesty less greed would be a step in the right direction alas i wont be holding my breath. :P hope the budget doesn't hurt to much lol
