dan-250
They have gone barmy for peas round here, unfortunately I have none on any of my permission bits, next farm up, Which already has someone who visits once a year I bet, as I've never seen him an I've been going morning nights and weekends randomly. Good flight line over the field I'm in tho, just dam high with no wind.

dan-250
Yer but it has 2 horses in and makes life difficult to say the least, I leave them too it if there on there. Not worth the risk, as I'm scared of horses anyways

motty
A pigeon's choice of food sources is certainly more limited when all the rape has grown away. I will be mainly shooting over peas for the next 3 months. As others have said, check for pigeons eating clover.

fenboy
They will be on peas after the rape mainly , but also keep a eye out on young sugarbeet , bean fields ( they are normally feeding on weeds not the bean shoots) I would guess they will still be feeding on rape for two or three weeks yet as long as you have some short patches.
