roe doe
as any one tried these i got 100 given to try used them on some crows plenty of feather but the shot seamed to just drill them i will try them on clays at the w/end
dunganick
tried a handfull last weekend, found them low recoil, but they were only the trial version (6.5 shot plastic wad) and the clays were not a fair test. Will be trying a larger amount at some point soon.
the last engineer
have some coming, heard there good so will find out as soon as they go bang. speaking of malfunctioning shells earlier Nick i forgot to tell you the Kent supersporters we used two weeks back had 14 bad shells, primer hole blanked so cant fire, pin hits good, frustrates the hell out of you when you get two or three on the trot, threw three boxes of shells in the garbage, didnt trust them after that, tend to make a flinch possible, yes they were dissasembled safely first, live and learn i guess, the rep wasn't at the shoot so couldnt shout at him, do it next time Martin
dunganick
well 1 malfunction in 1.5yrs will do me fine mate are kent carts your equivalent to gamebore?
Whitebridges
Gamebore black gold were reviewed in this months Sporting Gun. Very favourable write up.
Dunkield
Unfortunately anyone who advertises in those mags gets favourable write ups as the publishers are petrified to loose their advertising revenue. When was the last time you saw 'these are dire, I wouldn't use them if they were given to me'- which is a shame - you need to rely on forums like this for unbiased opinions (IMHO )
paulos
plus, the review was written by a geezer from justcartridges.com, so he was never going to say anything bad about them!
the last engineer
well 1 malfunction in 1.5yrs will do me fine mate are kent carts your equivalent to gamebore? yes Nick, they are the lower end shell that comes in, the 1-1/8 oz load is bad patterns terrible, the 1oz is a city block better, run at 1150-1200 fps pending barrel length, the kent is a bette hull the only problem as i said is the volume i shoot the probability of failure rises, Gamebore loads come in goods for training practice, they are cheap and readily available, Kent are a higher price used for comp's, my favorite is the 1oz high velocity load, great pattern, good knock down properties, and a round you can shoot all day without fatigue. my favorite as you've seen i dont shoot skeet the conventional way takes me a 100 shells per round Martin
dunganick
fair to say your technique would raise eyebrows where i shoot
the last engineer
does that mean they wont let me in i promise to behave ,,,,,,,, for the most part Martin
dunganick
when u shoot pairs of skeet with teh gun not mounted better than they can shoot single skeet with the gun mounted, i think they might have a sense of humour failure Unless of course they were selling you carts. me and my lad
tried some today, impressed havent been shooting for that long, sounds daft but they did seem very loud ?? did notice quite a bit more kick than usual cartriges i use bloody fast though, was hitting clays literaly as they left the trap. did miss a few slow rabbits though bonus point though, they do match my gun

MC
I have just bought 250 felt wad to use at Bisley tomorrow, they cost me £35.00 I'll report back on sunday. I also bought 500 Eley Match EPS .22 bullets so everyone can shoot a proper rifle, not one of those things with bipods Cheers Martin

MC
I tried Black Gold at Bisley on saturday and to be honest I won't be being them again. There was no difference between them and any other cartridge I have used except to say that I thought they recoilled quite hard. I will stick to Express Pro Comp from now on. Cheers Martin
