Frank
Poped off a few winged vermin at the farm i was at last, early this morning, with my CZ 452 .22lr. Got a woody amongs a flock of 30 odd , must get the hide and shotty out from hibernation. Anyhow, was doing well, when from the corner of the feild, out comes Mr Fox , Mmmm, i thought i got the 2 i wanted the last time out, another one has moved in i thought. He got to the middle of the feild, around 50 odd yards away from me and as i was resting on a bale, i had a Lux shot. His head was going up and down  , so i put a Winchester Sub in the boiler room, he dropped like a rock. Amazing. Great morning, lovely to be out in the morning sun. Pic below. Frank
Those winchester subs certainly have a whack to them, nice work Frank They sure do stuart , amazing bullet. Thanks. Frank. nice morning out there frank & a good photo too as hunter stop,s posting pic,s you start again fox with a rimfire frank  hell yes Cheers Magman. I would only use the rimfire on foxes at close range and a well placed bullet in the right organ. With that, sucsessfull kills can be made with the rimfire. The winchester sub broke a rib going in and exited the other side, distryoing the heart inside , yes, they are a hard hitting bullet in the right hands. Frank. Pedro
Nice one Frank. I think you're showing us exactly what a top bit of kit the .22 rimmy is. A lot has been said on here about not shooting foxes with certain calibres, but as you've exhibited on a number of occasions, it's certainly possible in the right conditions. Excellent pics as well, keep them coming. P.

Dave-G
There's something about them winnie's... I tried a batch the other week... They weigh virtually the same as the eley + extra's I had been using, hit my 50yd target about 40mm lower (on bipod), yet pack a harder thwack on flesh, Very noticeably harder. I suspect it's something to do with the larger hollow allowing an easier spread of the bullet on impact. As for it hitting my target board 40mm lower? I think the larger hole is aerodynamically dirtier.
